Founded by Chris Hamlin in 1992, Highland Ridge grew out of a lifelong passion for building the right way. Chris learned the craft side by side with his father, mastering the details that make homes last. Today, he works alongside his son Ed and brother-in-law John, bringing three generations of expertise, care, and reliability to every project.

Hi, I’m Chris Hamlin, President of Highland Ridge Custom Home Remodeling. My love for construction started back in 1972 when my dad added onto our house in SE Portland. I remember him marking X’s where the nails should go, and together, we created something amazing. That moment sparked my lifelong passion for remodeling.
