Project Overview
Jim and Kathi’s home in Beaverton was ready for a fresh, thoughtful remodel. They loved the house, but the kitchen and primary bath were starting to feel dated and no longer fit the way they wanted to live day to day. Our goal was to create two spaces that felt brighter, more functional, and timeless, while keeping the home comfortable and familiar.
Working with designer Andrea Matlock, our Highland Ridge Remodeling team completed a full kitchen renovation with custom painted cabinetry, new quartz countertops, upgraded tile backsplash, improved lighting, and a complete Bosch appliance package. The layout stayed mostly the same, but the finished space feels cleaner, more open, and much easier for cooking and gathering.
In the primary bathroom, we built a calm, spa-like retreat with a new tiled shower, frameless reeded glass panel, freestanding tub centered under the window, heated floors, updated ventilation, and carefully selected fixtures throughout. - Frameless reeded glass shower panel with satin brass hardware for a custom luxury bathroom design
- Heated tile flooring installed in the primary bath for year-round comfort and a true master suite upgrade
- Upgraded lighting package with illuminated vanity mirrors, new sconces, and improved bathroom ventilation

Our experience with Highland Ridge was outstanding. From an introductory phone call with Ed to our initial meeting with Chris, we established a great rapport and were very comfortable that Highland Ridge is a first class company that checked all the boxes for what we were looking for in remodeling our kitchen and master bath. Their process from planning, to 3D color design renderings showing what our completed project would look like, to construction software for scheduling and progress reporting, to selecting high quality subcontractors (custom cabinetry, tile work including heated floor in master bath, quartz counter tops, appliances, fixtures, etc.), to final completion of the project.
