This bathroom was originally cramped and dark. It had a full height wall separating the shower area from the sink, and the whole space was claustrophobic. Our client’s desire was to be able to host family, both old and young, with comfort. While maintaining the same width of the bathroom, we were able to significantly improve the feel of the space. Replacing the full height wall with a dividing pane of glass and creating a window over the new soaking tub, the space was transformed immediately. LED lighting was added under the sink cabinet for use as accent and night lighting. Universal design elements allow for the comfort of a wide range of family members to visit and be comfortable.
