Remodeling has a lot of moving parts and we know it can be confusing and stressful. Ongoing project communications is key to reducing stress. Here is an overview of how the remodeling process with Highland Ridge works for you.
We will assess compatibility during this phase, as you are already involved by reading this document. We will delve into your vision, align it with your budget, discuss payment procedures, project timeline, your involvement, and manage expectations honestly. You will receive a comprehensive guide for understanding our process and services.
Prior to signing a Construction Agreement, there will be pre-construction fees covered by a Design Agreement. This agreement includes costs for detailed estimates to ensure a quality project at a fixed price. It may also cover design services, demolition, and discovery work. Signing does not commit you to a Construction Agreement.
With all or most of the results of the Design Agreement work in hand, we will meet with you to talk through the project. We will take all the time you want to be comfortable and confident. We’ll go over the scope of work, project plan, progress payments, timelines, logistics and concerns. You will meet your personal project manager and discuss how communications can be handled.
We will now have all the information to provide a guaranteed price for your project, you will have signedoff on the design and production plan. You’ve met your project manager and know who will be doing what to whom. We will provide an Agreement for our mutual signatures. We will go over and explain every deal of our straightforward Construction Agreement.
During the building phase, we will handle all the details of ordering materials, scheduling, oversite and coordination. We will diligently keep you up to date on progress and issues.
No matter how carefully we plan your project together you will probably want to make some changes along the way. We are prepared to cheerfully accommodate any changes you want to make. Our Agreement will explain how costs associated with your changes will be handled.
During the completion phase, we will conduct a thorough inspection to ensure the quality of work. A final review meeting will be scheduled to address any operational questions. We will perform a high standard clean-up of the project area and any touched property. A document will be provided for any additional items that need attention. You will also receive a three-year industry-leading warranty on our work.
